Lizzo

LizzoLizzo joined a rock group called prog that she joined, singing and occasionally played the flute. Her family relocated to Denver which meant she was all on her own in her quest to make a name for herself in Houston. Lizzo was living on her own in her car, often sleeping on the floor in her studio recording studio she also washed her hair at the gym. Lizzo lost her father at twenty-one years old. They were close, and it was a tragic loss. Following the death of her father, Lizzo quit the group in 2010. Lizzo following a brief stay in Denver, moved to Minneapolis in the year 2011 upon the suggestion by a friend. Soon she was a part of the city's music scene. She was a part of the girl bands Chalice as well as GRRRL PRETY. Her first album, Lizzobangers, came out in 2013 on an independent label.
