Alanis Morissette
Alanis Nadine's mother was born in Ottawa, Canada, on the 1st June, 1974. Alanis is the feminine version of Alan his father's last name. The name of her mother is Georgia and she has two brothers, Chad and Wade (Alanis"Twin). At age 6 she began to play the piano. After that, she was 21 and her first guitar lesson, she was a musician. Alanis released a single in 1986 called Fate stay with me (b-side : Find The Right Man). Then, in Canada, Alanis recorded two dance-pop albums: Alanis (in the year 1991) and Now Is The Time in 1992. Aged 18, she relocated to Toronto and worked with several singers and musicians, but they didn't seem to work. Glen Ballard was the producer/songwriter she picked in 1994. Glen was previously associated with Aretha Frankin Michael Jackson and Barbra Strreisand. After moving to LA, she turned 19 in the year 1994. The Madonna's Maverick Records released the song "Jagged Little Pill" in June 13th 15th, 1995. Alanis was able to come up with the idea of creating songs that were intimate and personal. JLP has sold more than 30 million copies around the world which makes it the top-selling female album of all time. This is also the third most-loved album of all time. JLP was released following anxiety (she considered not recording an album) in addition to taking some time off to travel.
